SPD Solar Photovoltaic DC500V Surge Lightning Protection Device

DC500V DC lightning protection is a lightning surge protection measure designed for electrical systems with a DC voltage of 500V. The core is achieved through dedicated DC lightning surge protectors (SPDS). Its main functions and features are as follows:

Blocking DC surge: When instantaneous overvoltage occurs in the DC system due to lightning induction, equipment start-up and shutdown, power switching, etc., the protector quickly conducts to discharge the surge current to ground, preventing overvoltage from damaging DC equipment 

Adapted to DC characteristics: Specifically designed for DC systems, it can withstand a 500V DC working voltage, preventing false operation under normal DC voltage. It also features unidirectional conduction or symmetrical protection capabilities, adapting to the polarity characteristics of DC circuits.

Ensure system stability: During normal operation, it presents a high-impedance state, which does not affect the normal power supply of the DC system and the operation of equipment. Automatically restore high resistance after the surge to ensure the continuous stability of the system.

Fault Indication and Protection: Some models are equipped with status indicators (such as indicator lights) to facilitate the determination of whether they are working properly. When encountering large surges or self-damage, it will automatically disconnect to avoid affecting the entire DC system.
